Timekeepr works with the majority of Android and iOs devices. There are a number of simple requirements that the device must have for Timekeepr to run successfully:

Hardware Requirements for Tablet

The device must have a front facing camera (to take clock in photographs)
The device must have internet connectivity be that over ethernet or Wi-Fi (preferred)
Hardware accessories should work in Portrait mode

Hardware Requirements for Mobile

The device must have a GPS sensor - i.e. the device must be able to detect "Your Location" in Google Maps
The device must have internet connectivity be that over ethernet or Wi-Fi (preferred)

This covers the majority of mobile and tablet devices. So if you have an existing Android or iOs device, it will probably work.

Recommended Value Tablets

Generally we recommend a 10 inch tablet if using on-premise as this is a good size device for people being able to see.

7 inch tablets will also work fine, just might be more difficult to see as it's a smaller screen.

Question 2

Does Timekeepr have an Offline Mode?

Yes we do but we restrict the access to this functionality.

In the event that your device cannot detect an internet connection, Timekeepr will boot into offline mode which will show the following message.

Employees can still clock in and clock out as normal when logged in as an administrator.

Whenever the device comes back online, the events will be synced periodically to Timekeepr.

Note: Please note we recommend that the device connects to the internet at least once a day for best data retention.

Question 3

Invite another administrator

Accounts with administrator access can see everything held within Timekeepr, holidays, payroll and jobs.

To invite an administrator, follow these steps.

Log in to the web portal here as an existing administrator
Go to the Users section

Click "Invite New User"

Enter their details and select the Administrator Role. Click "Send Invite".

This email will now receive an invite to Timekeepr and be instructed to set up their own password. Once they have done this, they can log in to Timekeepr and will have administrator access.

Question 4

Modify User Roles

Once you add an employee or invite a user to Timekeepr, a user account will be created for them. You may want to give that user more access, so we allow you to change user roles via the Users section.

Just follow these steps:

Go to Users Section

Edit the relevant user by clicking the pencil icon

Select the relevant user roles (may have to check permission box if Administrator is picked)

Click Update User to save the user

That's you and you're done!

Question 5

Run an Employee Timesheet

Accepted Answer

Running a timesheet for an employee is simple in Timekeepr. Just do the following:

Go to Reports in the Portal and Click Employee Timesheet Report

Choose the Employee Name and Date Range. Click Run Report and that's it.

If you'd like to run this for all employees at once,visit the Staff Timesheet Report.

Add a job

Adding a job is super simple, just give us a unique job number and name and click 'Save Job'.

This job will now be accessible for staff to log time against.

**This job can be linked to a custom process you have set up in Processes. e.g. if linked to a Process P, might move this job into Phase 1 on creation.

Assign a priority to this job e.g. Urgent, High, Low

**A reference number for this client e.g PO number

**Site Address
**An address that is linked to this job. This will be used for directions to the job.

**Expected Start Date
**Expected job start date.

**Expected End Date
**Expected end date for the job.

**Requires Signature
**Whether job requires a signature

**Job Documents
**Can be added when job is created

**Materials
**Link materials to a job

**Costs
**Add fixed costs linked to this job
